Whoa, I’m damn tired now. But I still wanna spend some time to write this. Hahaha.

So basically, today is quite a day. I had some new experiences, met some new people, ate something different and so on. Damn, I’m feeling dizzy now. Never mind. XD Let’s write!

First thing’s first. *is that how you write it?* Woke up at 6.50 am this morning. SIX FIFTY IN A FREAKIN’ SATURDAY MORNING!!! I slept like almost at 1 am and then I have to wake up at 6.50. It’s not even 7! Can you imagine that? The reason was I have to be at Tuas at 9 am. For those who doesn’t know where is Tuas, it’s actually in Singapore. I live near the city so it was like travelling from the heart of SG to the west end of the island. But I suppose it wasn’t that problematic compared to the experience I got.

Firstly, I waited at the wrong taxi stand.

I felt so retarded! The sailing guys wanted to meet at the taxi stand at Boon Lay station. So I went to Boon Lay, got out of the station and followed the directory to the taxi stand. I waited for like 5 mins or so and then my friend came. Then another one came, and soon another one. We have four people now and we still didn’t know that we were at the wrong taxi stand until one of my friend called me and said he saw one of the seniors. Damn, I was at the wrong taxi stand!!! Anyway, as we already had four people so we decided to just get a cab and head to the marina.

Lesson #1: wait at the right taxi stand, or just make your friends come to the wrong taxi stand so that you’re at the wrong taxi stand together.

Secondly, I had my first sailing experience.

Now, the four of the lost people-of-the-wrong-taxi-stand arrived at the marina IN ONE PIECE. *thank God the taxi driver wasn’t a serial killer* We went to the meeting place and got briefed and so forth. They have so many terms and names for the stuffs on the boat. Can’t really remember all of them. Finally, we headed to the sea. Yeaaaa!!!! We were sailing on a keelboat, a boat with a keel under it. *what a good explanation* It was a team activity so the six of us on the boat must work together to move the boat. And to make sure it didn’t sink. They had different roles in sailing and my first one is the mast. I was in charge of the mast (the pole) and the main sail. One thing I notice from this role: you need a light ass to be a mast. XD I mean it. Because we have to balance the ship by sitting on the edge of the boat and when the boat is changing direction, we also have to switch position to the other side of the boat. What happened to me was, as I was trying to move my butt as fast as I could, I scratch my pinky! Didn’t hurt much back then but it sure hurt when I took a shower. But overall, sailing is fun! You should try it. Just need to get a hang of it.

Lesson #2: if you wanna be a damn good mast, work on your ass first.

Lesson #3: don’t write a blog when you’re feeling like you’re on a keelboat.

Damn, suddenly I feel dizzier. Don’t know what’s wrong, though. Guess I better head to bed and finish this thing tomorrow. Hope nothing’s wrong with me. See you all!

To be continued…
